I’m sharing one of my favorite practices I started in early 2025, which plays with a concept in Quantum Mechanics called Retrocausality – very simply, using the future to change the past.

I’ve long been fascinated with non-linear time, time loops, and related theories that can make your brain explode (in a really good way).

Time is a form of energy that can be tapped into and used in treatments.  For example in hypnosis we can do both Past Life Regression and Future Life Progression.  In Taoist alchemical energy healing we can connect with all versions of YOU that have ever and will ever exist.

With all of that in mind, this is really an experiment, and I’m sharing it because it feels like things that are very difficult to explain are happening, and it feels deeply good.  Plus I need people to talk to about this, so let me know if you do it and maybe we can chat over a coffee while wearing covert sunglasses.

It’s very easy and I do it almost every single morning.

In a journal, I write a message to my past self,
and then ask my future self for messages.

Here’s a quick example:

  • Sit quietly, breathe, tune-in and think about something I went through at any time in my past that I needed help with (even if I didn’t know at that time I needed help).
  • I usually take the first thing that clearly comes into my mind.  It might be personal, business, financial, relationship, pretty much anything goes.
  • Write the date.
  • Write “Dear past me,” then give quick perspective and advice like Do This, Don’t Do That.
  • At the end write “Dear future me, please send messages.”

Here’s a real entry:

5/21/25:  Dear past me, when the person tells you the more elaborate project is better don’t listen to them.  Trust your original desire and keep it simple, period, even if it offends them. It will be worth it.
Dear future me, please send messages.  Thank you!  I love us all!

Most of the entries are short and sweet, occasionally they’re longer with information that often seems to flow from future me – like I’m receiving a message from future me that I asked for.

I hope you play with this and have fun, and it improves your life in tremendously strange ways that make you question everything about what we call reality.

May you be blessed with Light,
Cynthia
